Aishwarya writes short fiction, poetry, personal essays and nonfiction articles. She likes to experiment with hybrid forms.

Her writing is strongly influenced by her feminism. Her non-fiction articles critique gender roles and societal norms. Her fiction and poetry stem from personal experiences and explore the themes of identity, belonging, love, mental health, and the body.
